I joined Be2.com.sg about 2 years ago and had since canceled my subscription but it didn't seem to work as I am constantly getting billed of S$239.40 through my credit card. Recently, my credit card issuing bank has replaced a new card for me due to suspected unauthorised online transaction.
About 3 weeks ago, I received an email from Be2.com.sg stating that Be2.com.sg was unable to charge its bill to my credit card and requested me to updated my credit card information which I rightfully ignored. Then yesterday, I received another email from Be2.com.sg again, threatening to take legal action against me if I didn't renew my membership. The email is as follows:
The automatic renewal of your premium membership has failed due to a problem with your credit card/bank account.
Please update your payment details now:
Click here to update your payment details.
As there is a valid contract between you and be2 we otherwise reserve the right to take legal measures.
