Dishonest

Hello I have spoken to 10 different Customer Care people over the past over 2 weeks..trying to get a part for my patient recliner ..she's 80 and has been stuck in an upright position for over weeks
The service man came after 2 weeks charged her $89.OO for the visit told her what part would be ordered she waited for 2 more weeks..the man came and told her she needs to get 2 more parts at $300
00. Thats crazy she's now still in this recliner from Bob furniture from Carle pl Westbury ny
They never told her in the service visit she would need 2 more parts..this is a rip off on a poor senior citizen and a disgrace on BOBS.
They should refund her $89.00 because they kept her waiting almost a month.
And now she has to buy a new recliner
Just pitiful..what can you do for her

Protection plan

Do not buy anything from Bobs. They don’t stand their inferior products. I ordered a sofa and loveseat, The Nevada, which is no longer carried. The cushions in the middle are sinking to the point where you need to grab a persons arms to help them up. As unhappy as I am with this I think I’m more unhappy with the lack of knowledge their associates have. On person knows less than the other after 9 calls!!! And 3 emails......I called June 14th because the couch was unusable, a technician showed up July 8th and concluded the couch did in fact have a manufacturer defect which bobs denies yet they refuse to send me a copy of the technicians report. Then Mario offered me s new couch only to find out he was wrong in offering a new couch. Sorry.....
Will call back .... another week no answer.
This went on for a month. Total runaround..... clueless employees....now I’m told a manufacturer defect in not covered even though my Goofproof clearly says it is. My whole house is Bobs purchased with their credit card and I couldn’t be more mad! They don’t honor their products or their goofproof!!!!
And they won’t give me a copy of the technician report either!!

Delivery

I purchased a Queen size adjustable bed a wooden bed frame with drawers on 1/6/19 which totaled $2800. I was promised delivery on 1/8/19- mind you I threw my old bed out on garbage day the same day. Upon delivery we were advised the wrong adjustable base was sent and the furniture could not be assembled. I call the store and spoke to the sales person who stated the order would be fixed. 1 went to the store the same day to confirm the purchase and was setup for delivery on 1/10/19. On 1/10/19 they arrived for delivery , and once all the boxes were brought into my empty bedroom, they discovered the foot board was missing. I called at 11:30am and spoke with a representative and advised her of what happened. The representative assured me they would move the delivery date up and credit me with a $50 Bob's gift card. I called back at 4:20pm and was advised by the representative Carla, that there was no scheduled delivery setup for 1/11/19 and that the rep stated in her notes- I excepted the bed as is for the $50 credit. Needless to say she was not honest at all- who would except $50 credit for a bed they cannot use.

I am appalled, as I have had to sleep on the floor for the last 2 days. I can't wait to see what happens on Saturday, when they come to do the install this time. I am a dissatisfied customer and will never shop at Bob's discount furniture ever again, it seems like "discount" means headaches. I will stick with Macy's for my future purchases.
