Maternity UIF

Good day.

I have a serious complaint about the UIF department. I started my maternity leave benefits on 3 March. Baby was born 15 June. I went in to "sign" for my 1st payment 27 June. I was told to come back 6 July. Which I did then was told a document was not submitted and to come back in about 10 days which I did on the 13th July. I was then told sorry they forgot to tell me to bring the both certificate and to come back on the 1st or 2nd of August. I did that and 10 days later still no money only to discover that my application was not sent for "approval " I went back and complained that no one answers phones and I needed to speak to some one. I was directed to a lovely lady who tried to help me basically every 10 days with trying to re submit my banking documents however we could not at that stage establish what the problem was and would only discover after 10 days or so after non payment yet again that there was an issue but not knowing what it was. Finally 5th of September we "discovered " that the bank person didn't put the correct bank code....could they not figure that out? I bank with Standard Bank how could the department not tell me after submitting 4x what the problem is?

I went back to the bank and re filled the paperwork and re submitted. 2 visits later yet again no joy bearing in mind I have to travel 10 to 12 days to Pinetown every time. I went to the offices in CBD and re submitted an stamped signed BLANK form which they said they would fill in on the 19th September and today I find out I still have to wait till next week JUST to find out if the paperwork is correct?

Yet when ever I phone which is just about every day I get told different stories?

I have paid UIF for 20 years and never claimed yet why am I constantly hitting a huge wall at every turn

maternity claim

I have submitted maternity claim in May 2017, even up to date no payment was received. I have been calling Middleburg labour, contact centre of Labour and visiting mobile office at Belfast but all unsuccessful. Sometimes I am told that all my documents are complete and sometimes I am informed that there are outstanding documents. The frustration is that if you do not make a follow up there is no communication. I am already back to work and unable to visit the office hence I need that payment to be made. It is easy for them to deduct for UIF and difficult to make payment when a claim is submitted.

maternity payout.

I have applied for maternity benefits in May 2017. I have been doing follow up with Belfast mobile office and middleburg office and never recieved any payout. Always when I went to the office I am told that there are some outstanding documents. Submitted ui19 sixth times and still didn't recieve anything. In July I was told that I will recieve little funds to test the account. I am even back to work but the UIF is deducting while it fails to pay our claims.

Not promvided with uniform

Good day.

I am working for an agent in a warehouse. We employees were never provided with uniform at all,we only received a reflector for ppe. No boots no nothing. Now they are forcing us to buy our own uniform (printed company name). They are even threatening us that if we dont buy it,they will send uwarehous.

What can i do to protect myself because now we are forced to grow their businesses buy selling working clothes to us.

Maternity UIF Payment

I applied for my maternity UIF payment as from May month 2017 every time when i go to the labour department to find out if the paper word is approve then they send me back ask me to come back after two week go back after two week than its the same thing come back after two week ever time so 26/08/2017 i finally signed but they said i must wait for 7 too 10 days nothing happend so i phone in they said that i must come and signed again so i went back did sign again on the 18/09/2017 same story its too must must story so i need help please i dont know what to do no more can u please assit me .

UIF MATERNITY FINAL PAYOUT

I have been struggling for almost 2 months to get my last months maternity uif. I filed everything on ufiling and all went well until my last payout. I have called numerous times and still no help or any payout and on ufiling all shows that paperwork and continuation of pàyment complete. I have already returned to work.

No one seems to care or help.

UIF Forms not captured since August

Good Day I went to the UIF offices to do my uif all forms was done and i had to go back on the 5th of September to sign for my money but then they couldn't find my papers on the system i had to go and look for it and found it and gave it to the staff to complete for me to go and sign when i got there on the 19th of September it still wasn't done and couldn't sign for my moneys now i have to call them everyday to find out when the papers are ready for me to sign but no one picks up the phone.im unemployed where must i get petrol and airtime to call them or go there every week. I applied for my Uif in Jan 2017 for maternity .Up to now not yet received the money .Every month its a different story .Why are they taking money gor foreigners .

UIF

I have been trying to make a claim for UIF for 8 months and still no luck. When you finally get through to customer services they offer no answers. No one returns your calls or emails and if you ask for a manager or to escalate the problem they cut you off! I need advise on how I can get case 10006317211 paid out as its wrong that we pay into a fund for so long and we are being offered such a shocking service.

Uif

So on the 19th of July I applied for my Uif, after being there before and enquiring i knew exactly what I needed to bring. So I needed 2 ui19 forms and I submitted it the lady in the window said that's all and I need to wait 6-8 weeks... it's been 8 weeks and they are telling me that there are forms missing but it's fine I just need to wait 10 working days because the systems changed in July when I applied...

Uif

Good Day
I am Votile Makonco. Worked in Anglo platinum mines since 1987-2010 after termination of contract applied for uif benefits in east london they kept on giving me date for return until they informed me that 6 month had lapsed requested me to look for employment I want to claim. I then got employed on costraction and fate termination applied for uif which paid me 3500, was I not supposed to receive uif starting from 1987-2010 as uif has been deducted for all this years

Department of labour

Good Day
My name is Votile Makonco. I have worked for 23 years in the mines however I retired in 2010 and applied for uif in east london wherein they kept on giving me dates until they informed me that 6 month had expired and I can go and find employment to be able to claim. I got employed on contract and after termination made application for uif I was only paid 3100 in total. Does the uif not Liable to pay for all the years starting from 1987 to 2010 in which they have been deducting

Uif application

On the 18 August 2017 I went to the department of labour to apply for my uif claim and the person who helped me said my application will be processed and I'm only short of 1 ui19 from another company that i worked bt did submit the other
.when I get to the cape town branch today(13sept2017) they say they don't see my other ui19 that I submitted and I must start from scratch to apply.my question is who didn't do their job and why are people being misleaded and made a fool of .this is wrong,I mean I'm not borrowing this money its mine its for the years I've worked my but off now I have to struggle to get it.please sort this out because its not fair.

UIF -Office Kempton Park

HI , I am a pregnant women who is at 38 weeks in pregnancy , so i am close to giving birth. i went to Department of Labour Kemptone park to submitt my UIF forms. Security directs me to sit in the queue which is very long lines .all over the walls is there posters stating the Pregnant women should get priority at the office , we are at our last trimester when we coming to submit forms.i approach the security about the posters on the walls and why they are not applying the rules. but he insisted that i need to join the queue like the other people.
i had to fight for my rights in order not to stand in the queues , even the staff were not concerned about the pregnant women.there was not more than 6 pregnant women in the office , but they are making us stand in long queues for hours .why is there posters on the walls if offices like kemptone park do not follow the rules.this is the only UIF office i have been to that does not follow the rules.i was getting pains in my stomach and back , thats why i had to fight with the staff at the office to assist me .this is not fair that we are treated this way. its our own Black people that does not give us the respect we need.this is not right that as a women i must beg for respect .and this is the rule of department of labour offices , why must we force the rules to be applied ..i cant believe that this is the treatment we get from our own people .

I Would you to please address this issue as pregnant women need to be treated fairly

uif maternity

I claimed for my uif maternity directly from the Randfontein offices on the March 2017. My baby was born on Feb 2017. Now they say that there is something wrong with the paper work and I need to go in ONCE again, I can NOT keep taking days of work to stand there with no assistance and keep handing in and submitting the same things over and over again and everytime I phone I get a different story??

UIF for The late

Please assist in this complain, My father passed on in 2014 and my mother applied for for his UIF in 2015 due to illness, the application was declined but she filled for appeal and they asked for letter from the hospitals during that period she would go once a month to check and obviously they would tell her to check the following month until this year April where she passed on, I tried following the matter but I was told we need a minor to apply hence I’m over that my question is, is that unfair since she was being assisted by different consultants and was told different stories since 2015 to 2017 March and this cannot be paid after so much time she’s been there only now that she’s passed

Can I be assisted on this matter please and have a closure, as I feel my father has worked so much years for him to be not recognised, as I said she has submitted everything from a letter from work, hospital confirmation letters and all they asked for

UIF Claim

Hi

I would like to know if do people at department of labour work if so what are they being paid of cause I as me applied for my maternity uif money by end of june 2017 and now its September i haven't recieved any money from them they keep on telling me to come back after two weeks my forms are not yet updated if they are being paid by our money you must tell us so that we can stop claiming and let them starve as they make us be with our money

Uif unemployment fund

Hi
All I want to know how do they calculate the uif fund. Cos I was working for 2 and half year earning R5750 as my basic plus comm. What I know uif fund deducted from basic, I went and apply.everything was done come payment ma first payment was R2900 second payment was R262.02 my question now is how possible is that for me to receive R262.02 for my second payment. For 2and half year working.
Can i get help on this.

Maternity UIF

Hi

I submitted my claim for UIF in February 2017, my son is now 8 months old. After having to resubmit and run around 3 times to the labour department offices, I have been calling them each month. Every time I call, I am told that the money will be paid into my account in the next 10 days. The service consultants are never available when I try following up, they are all unavailable by name. I really dont think that it is fair, I have always and still am paying UIF from my salary each month, but now when I am suppose to benefit from it, I cant.
I really hope and pray that this makes a difference, I cant afford to just overlook and lose out on this money. The money is due to me. Please help somebody!!!!

Maternity UIF

Hi

I have submitted my Maternity UIF claim in February 2017, my son is already 8 months old. I was asked to go in 3 times to resubmit paperwork in a matter of 2 months. Every time I contact the Department of Labour I am told that the money will be paid within the next 10 days. I can never get through to the same service provider as they always not available. I don't think it is fair that I have been and still am paying UIF every month from my salary but when I need to benefit from it, I cant. I really hope this makes a difference, I really dont want to lose out on this money which is due to me. Please help!!!

Maternity UIF

Hi,

I still have not received any UIF and my daughter is now almost 2 years. I have made use of a 3rd party to assist with the claim. I received a message that the doc's has been submitted. After a few months, I queried again. I was told that some of my doc's was not submitted, which was submitted once again. I received a sms stating there is an appeal????? since then, not a word. I have contacted the Labour Department and was told that they cannot pick my details up - they can't tell me where I was registered? I am not able to track my UIF claim that I have put in. The money is due to us and why are we struggling to get OUR money? I have spent so much money on phoning, being put on hold? Where does this leave us? Is there someone out there who can actually help us in order to get our money? It is frustrating........there were references that we could use should we have queries but to no avail......
