I had paid 4.56 for a three day membership and canceled it on the 3rd day. On the 4th day i looked on my bank account and saw thet not only was not cancelled but they charged me twice for a full membership.

I recently paid for a month subscription to GaysTryst.com and on the first day as a member I was left a message by an alleged member who said he was in town visiting family and did I want to hookup. The guy was half my age and his photo showed him to be athletic and very attractive. This alone should have been a red flag because I'm old enough to be his grandfather. Anyway, I called the number he posted for me to leave a text message and he responded immediately and suggested, to be safe, that I acquire what he called a "Date ID #" which, he explained, was a way of letting someone know where you were going and who you were meeting in case anything unscrupulous or unexpected were to happen to you on said date. He posted a link in a text message for me to acquire this Date ID from various other dating sites, which all required a CC as age verification only, alleging that my card would not be charged. Each time, my card was declined, so he asked me to be patient as he posted other subsequent links for me to access for this supposed Date ID #, each time the same result, declined. Finally, I just told him that this was getting us nowhere and asked him did he want to trust that I am a well-known member of my community and that my roommate would be home; that I am harmless and would not try any funny business or hurt him in any way if we were to hookup without the ID# and I gave him my address. Of course, he never came. The next day I find 16 unauthorized charges on my bank card (and had they not cleaned out my account completely, I'm convinced there would have been more unauthorized charges on my card), in total, this whole runaround of his withdrew $206.18 from my bank account. It was perplexing that each of these sites I attempted to signup on all said the CC entry was for age verification purposes only and that my card would not be charged, yet, curiously, all attempts made declined my card. This was all very puzzling and frustrating and time consuming on top of it. It was so totally stupid on my part, thinking about it now, but being new to the hookup site scene, I followed along. How LAME! Don't be fooled, I think this must be a bogus site that does nothing more than prey on unsuspecting guys looking to hookup in good faith, but I got duped big time. Buyer Beware!!
