Fraudulent Insurance Products at Jet

Good day,

I'm Winnie Mdhluli, a client at Jet store. I opened an account with Jet about 10 years ago and I've been buying clothes using my account without a problem. I would make monthly payments for my purchases without an issue. A couple of years ago I made a purchase of clothes and have been making regular payments however I started to notice that the account outstanding balance had not been changing. After making enquires with Jet I found that several insurance products were assigned to me without my knowledge or consent. Those insurance product were taking a bulk of my monthly payments. To be specific about 99% of my payment would go towards those insurance products. They've been consistently calling me to make payments but I refused since I'm paying for insurance products I did not ask for. They are now calling me and threatening me with blacklisting which is unfair. They fraudulently assigned insurance products to be without my consent and threatening me with blacklisting if I do not pay for their fraud. I want them to cancel those insurance products and use all those payments I made to their fraudulently assigned products to settle their account. This is a fair request.

Cashier attitude

So I went to Jet-Maponya Mall yesterday to exchange my nieces shoes and I as I arrive at the till the cashier tells me "Uzobizwa" With an ample amount of attitude of course,I replied with a "sorry? and" she repeated "Uzobizwa" and I responded with I came here because I had already heard a "next" otherwise I wouldn't be standing here. As I decide to Walk away a male cashier (Nkulee) asks that I don't not go back in the queue and She asks him who called me and he then says it was him,he then pleads with her to do the transaction. So she does! I was so upset! My emotions were running wild! I don't understand how a person/ people can take their jobs for granted in such a difficult time and the unfortunate lack of respect there is amongst black people
No apology, no remorse just attitude and just bad customer service, I believe the cashiers name is T. Ngubane according to my receipt. It would be nice if people actually respected their line of work and deal with their unpleasant attitude privately. Many people with the right attitude and energy are deserving of these jobs than those who just take it for granted. I hope the store will improve its quality of customer service.

need to do is .... come in store and collect it then can make
purchases and pay my account again - he further said my card put aside
with my name on it - I think a few days went by then I went back to
the store - on arrival I asked for Victor and was he was off and then
was told my card which he said had been put aside was never in fact
actioned - the lady in store could see my frustration and issued me
another card and was told my that lady I still cant buy or make
payments and that I needed to wait 3 days so the card could be
activated which again I do not understand - I left and returned again
yesterday and met with Victor again - he gave a alot of excuses and
stories - as manager you need to take responsibility and be
accountable which he is neither off .

I then tried to purchase a few items and pay my account - transaction
was declined - by now my
blood was boiling and rightly so - I then asked the lady who was
helping to make a payment of 550 on my account which she do not do she
swiped card for the purchase of items I wanted to buy - I then called
Victor and the transaction was revered to reflect a payment on my
account .

Again the above is unexceptable and wrong on all levels further more
has caused al ot of stress , time wasting ( for me time is money ) and
cost me a lot a money in fuel up and down as I stay in Sea Point also
and of huge concern to me I have been told my credit score has been
negatively impacted by this due to defaulting on payments which was
no fault of mine - in store so many times to make payments but as
explained I could not - I need this revered ASAP or my lawyers will
get involved at your cost - my credit is vitally important for my
business and personally - I have never been late on payment in my life
I earn more than enough money to cover all debts and live a good life

Wrong advertisment and rude cashier/ manager
I went to Jet Prieska, Northern Cape today to buy the samsung A2 core todat that they have on special for black friday on adverts they show its 16gig but when i bought it and it was only 8 gig i then told the cashier believed to be the manager aswell that this 8 gig is not the ons advertise, he were very rude and gone off on me for saying so, he would not listen to what i have to explain so i said he can give my money back, he were swaering at me and were so rude i will never shop there again and i will recomend all my friend to so the same as this is not the first time he treats customers rudely. I would like to know how do Jet advertise a 16gig and give customers a 8 gig. That is wrong. And i want to know what is happening to this rude man he didn't want to give me his name at all and did not wear a name tag.

Over 7 months waiting on my phone, which i sent for repairs.

April 2020 I bought a tablet from jet stores cash. 3 weeks of having it, software stops working. I took it back for repairs, which they agreed on taking in and fixing. Over 6 months now(October 2020)down the line noooooo phone back!
To top it off, not even once have they gotten back to me to update or communicate with me about anything! Im the one that always goes to the store to ask! Really?!
This is really frustrating!!!!!!

Accounts

I have a serious problem with Jet accounts, submitted payments throughout lock down and the correct amount. Spoke to the account department last week, said I must send proof of payment, nothing has happened since. I only receive sms’e daily and calls to make arrangements??? Service is pathetic from Jet.

Club Card Points

Tried contacting Customer Service several times no response with regards to my club card points. No notification was sent to me regarding my points expiring. R500 is alot of money. Can someone from Jet contact me regarding this

On de 2nd of april I paid R300 account nd de remaining balance was R888 smthng, nd I went back on the other day nd purchase some staff for R95, then after buying R95 , I saw de balance of R1790 is possible from R888 to R95 nd to R1790, guys I'm not happy at all, nd I'm not going to pay de account until I get a feedback

Refuse refund during lockdown

I bought items at Jet on 4 March 2020, I fitted everything on at home and the following day wanted to refund 2 items that I did not want. I was told by Jet Menlyn Mall that Jet dont accept items back during lickdiwn. They did not inform me when I entered the store that this is the case.

I need my refund on items urgently.

Incompetency

I went to jet store in Daveyton Mall paid for clothing using my debit card on my bank the money went through I received an sms of payment. Then from the cashiers side it didn't go through she asked me to wait for a while because it will reverse they are having a problem with their system and mind you this is happening for the second time it happened at Jet aswell same problem Lakeside mall 3years ago and what really pisses me off is that after this because I had to leave the paid items in store I am the 1 who will be going round and round in circles them needing my bank statement and keeping my clothes and the money telling me many stories yeeeer Jet is very incompetent with their tills when coming to the card payments really this is uncalled for a whole big company having such problems since 2017 same problem 2020 I hate Jet Stores never again am I going there. And I know this matter is going to drag I will be going to the store I am desperate its my money what can I say

I dont know how many times.I have requested a paid up latter until now I dont get any letter they keep telling me that they will email for me .I must wait for 48 hours but nothing happen it's getting into my nerves now.please email for me a paid up letter via email [email protected].

Gift card scam

This is incident occurred at Tibane Mall Jet where they lost my lay buy and offered me a gift card for the inconvenience they caused and I decided to use the gift card only to be told that it has declined days later i went to another jet to try use it only to be told that the gift card has been allocated already meaning that it was used.

FRAUDULENT USE OF JET CARD

MY JET CARD WAS FRAUDULENTLY USED ON THE 23/24 DECEMBER 2019 TO PURCHASE BUS TICKETS(R1205) AND GOODS FROM EDGARS(R7879.85) I DID NOT USE MY ACCOUNT NOR DID I GIVE ANYONE PERMISSION TO PURCHASE ON MY ACCOUNT AND I AM NOT GOING TO BE HELD LIABLE FOR THESE PURCHASES. EDCON MUST PROVIDE ME WITH CCTV FOOTAGE AND PROOF OF THE SALES DOCKETS WITH MY SIGNATURE. ALL THE RELEVANT AFFIDAVITS AND DOCUMENTS WERE HANDED IN AT JET IN FOREST HILL. I AM NOW WAITING FOR JET FRAUD DEPARTMENT TO CONTACT ME SO THAT THIS AMOUNT CAN BE REVERSED.

Manager,cashier van Jet Piketberg ek het ñ handsak o.a van my shopping gedoen op die vloer het twee van die sakke gehang ek het in albei gesoek vir die prys en kon dit nie vind nie toe gaan ek till toe daar het ek di kassier ingelig daar is ni ñ prys aan nie sy het die ander kassiere asook die bestuurder gevra vir di prys di terugvoering was dit is ou handsakke die een het gesê die sakke hang van dat ek hier gekom het maar wat my mees onsteld het die stelling is ou handsakke voor ñ string ander kliënte wat soek ou voorraad op die vloer hoe tel hulle stock di sak is nou op ñ ander kode opgelui wat as ek dit moet terug gee by ñ ander tak en di kode match ni??Die kassier is so ligsinnig dit het gevoel ek kan die items net daar los en uitstap bydie deur is die tagg van my seun se een broek nie eens afgehaal nie!

Bad customer service

Hi I had a bad service first time in my life at Jet Southgate mall. A lady who was supposed to help in the fitting room stops me while she was busy packing the clothes when I asked for her attention since she stopped me She was so rude to me she even told me that she doing a fouver for me and she is old enough to be my mother. Please Jet management teach your staff more about customer service.

Poor service

Good day,
I was at one of your stores at Alexandra. My mother bought shoes at your stores unfortunately they didnt fit. I went to the store this morning hoping to exchange the items, the receipt was in place however I was not assisted because i didnt have the "points card" what a service?. I asked your cashier to elaborate because i didn't understand what she meant. She said she cant exchange the items because the points card was used, your mother has earned points" I understand that it could be in your policy but do you advice your customers when you issue the points card? What am i supposed to do with the shoes that don't fit ? It's like there is no service, the "there's nothing I can do" statement frustrates me , i felt insulted because i did explain to them that i dnt have the card my mother is not around all i wanted was to exchange the shoes. Say for instance the card gets misplaced does it mean customers are going to lose their money ? This is unacceptable. I want this matter resolved asap or im taking this matter to other social media platforms. It's unacceptable.

RE-OPENING BLOCKED ACCOUNT

Good day , My name is Barishka Naude and i have been trying for two weeks to get an account at the jet store
i dont think that your new accounts departments and store staff understand how to fix my account
i had an account with jet a couple of years ago and when i settled the account , it was automatically blocked

last week monday i was on the jet online and tried to open a new account and it gave me the error message (attached) that i need to go to the store to correct the matched account

i immediately contacted your online customer centre and they advised that i just go to the store with my id and payslip

i called again on friday to confirm that before i go to the store that these are the only docs i take with me and they confirmed that
i should only take my id and payslips

to my surprise as i expected , i get to the jet store at carnival mall ... and i obviously wait 30 minutes before they could finish with the lady that was before me ... when it was my turn , i explained the story 3 times to the counter lady and she doesnt understand when i told her that the online customer agent said the store needs my docs to unblock the account

she then calls the customer service and after waiting another 45 minutes she tells me that i must come back with the decree of divorce , i did not have this account when i was married and now that i am divorced , i would like to unblock my current account. they could not assist with a new account or unblock my current account ... so she said i should come back again with docs ...

when i phoned the customer service again this morning , the options is saying that i have an account and i have a credit limit available to purchase but i do not have a card and two of the agents could not help me ... they said i need to go to the store again

is there someone that can help me so that i do not have to drive up and down to the store ... can i send my documents via email and then collect and sign for the card at the store

i am very unhappy with the service as i did not hassle to get any other accounts ... even my vehicle finance was much more simple
i stood at your store for over an hour with a 3 year old toddler and she wasnt comfortable standing this long at the counter , so you can imagine how the experience was for me

False advertising & service

Went to Jet at Mountain Mill Mall to buy Pamper Nappies advertised in their display window. Went inside and they tell the promotion ended day before. I said but add in window say R169 and there is no date so why still advertise. Well .. Manager just says it's over and nothing can be done. When he saw and took a picture of the advertisement displayed in window, he took it off . Bad service

new application

Good day

I applied for an account on the 17th of july and still waiting for any respond.
The status keep on saying pending.
How long is this still gonna take.??

I opened an account at mr price a while ago and it was approved with is one day.
I will appreciate it if someone can help me regarding thit matter.

Rude cashiers

I wanted to laybye two I terms today at jet store two cashiers told me that they can't help me their names are tshego and bianca they work at postmasburg her store so I want to know where must I buy clothes as they don't want to help I'm not losing your company is losing because of two ppl who can't do their job I'm also a cashier I know the rights of a store and customer service I'm gonna call my lawyer so that they can deal with them I'm not happy with their attitude to me in front of lots of customer in the store and I'm not gonna buy anything in jet store ever again in my life and I'm also gonna cancel my account

UN RECORGNISED PRODUCT

BOUGHT A PHONE IN 2015 IT NOW HAS A SOFTWARE PROBLEM I TOOK IT TO THE SERVICE PROVIDER FOR FIXING AND THEY SAY THE DONT RECORGNISE THE PHONE ON THEIR SYSYTEM
