I submitted my application for maternity benefit in March 2016. They told me to come back on 27 April to sign for my first payment.
I went early that morning to sign, only for the lady to tell me that my claim has not been processed yet and that i must go home and wait for a payment and then come back to sign.

But I went to go find out why my application has not been processed yet. They looked it up and told me that my documents were scanned late but are in process now.

Up to now I have not heard anything from them and received no payment!!
Can someone please assist me on this matter.

Staff are useless, inconsiderate and unhelpful, keep making you come back but dont even try to help you even though you are highly pregnant, we pay uif so we are entitled to claim but they act as if they are paying out their own pockets, a month has passed still no help, my forms are not even registered yet, this is the pathetic country we live in, so so so frustrated.
