Lies and more lies
The sales rep Marco Polo if that is even his real name was the second sales guy who tried to sell my mom and I an offer at Pueblo Bonito. After listening to all the options and deciding to go with the least expensive option which was one week every other year 'free' where I would only be required to pay maintenance fee and 3 weeks at preferred or RCI for anywhere in the world for a lifetime I was sold. That is until i actually tried booking a vacation with one of the weeks and realized that it was costly, with so many limitations such as guest size and mandatory all inclusive very exoensive additional feels... so what exactly am I paying for monthly? When I called Pueblo Bonito I was told that I am paying for the every other year week stay. Needlessless to stay this is a scam, I requested information on canceling and was emailed a letter that I can sit and write myself indicating that it must be notarized that I agree that no money will be refunded. I wasn't sold the package that was presented to me, does anyone have any guidance on how best to proceed with cancellation it really sucks to lose all that money with not one vacation out of it!

I think It will pretty much say everything that needs to be say.
I went through a horrible experience with this resort, and I'm out of three thousand dollars right now BUT I'm in a process to cancel my timeshare.

Pueblo Bonito Passport
Went to Cabo and made the mistake of going to the presentation at Sunset. What a "SCAM". It's a high pressure sale pitch. If one sales person can't convince you they switch and have another person take over. They did this 4 times with us. It was like dealing with a used car dealership. Bottom line, they lied to us an totally misrepresented what it was we were buying into. Once we got home we discovered we actually purchased a membership into a third party travel agency that has nothing to do with Pueblo Bonito Resorts. Once you try asking questions about their operation you'll discover they don't want to deal with you. To make reservations in Cabo you have to call Mexico and they obviously don't want to deal with you either. With the confusing point system they use you'll end up paying more than you would by simply going on the internet. You can get better deals for everything from cruises to hotels. Bottom line is this is a total "SCAM", don't fall for their high pressure sale pitch.

pueblo bonita
went to cabo for vacation and got wrangled in to the pueblo bonita preffered passport membership. What a waste. Ypu are offered a cruise, two weeks at cabo, and thousands in credits. Yeah the cruise you paid for in the price, the two weeks at cabo at pueblo bonita you might as well forget. You have to call mexico for it and yoy cant get ahold of anyone. The credits are a joke. Customer service doesn t respond. Would love a refund but when it comes to getting money back they all disappear.

Pueblo Bonito Timeshare Complaints
Common Complaints:
Salesperson has client sign a waiver giving up their 5 day right to cancel as it is a special one-day only offer. This is illegal in Mexico.
Salesperson promises to sell their old timeshare to offset the cost of the new timeshare. In the end the client is referred to a resale company that does not sell the old timeshare and the client is stuck with two timeshares and the maintenance fees for both properties. http://www.timesharescam.com/
