I just received a voicemail with my name and the last 4 of my soc sec number. The message stated that I needed to call regarding a lawsuit in New York filed against me. When I finally got ahold of someone, he told me that I had to pay for an outstanding bill. When I asked what the bill was, I was told that I should know what it was for and that I had to pay it. I asked for documentation to be send to be regarding what the bill was. He then told me that he could not give me that information until I paid the bill. The only other thing was to let a federal lawsuit be filed against me and then I could see the documentation. He never did tell me the name of the company that I supposedly owed.

I received a call at 7 in the morning from Sacramento, CA (916) 282-3144 which means it was 5 in the morning there. I thought this was unusual (Red flag). The male caller with the foreign accent asked for me, I told him that she wasn't home. He proceeded to tell me that I was the subject of a lawsuit with an arrest warrant assigned to my social security number. Why would he discuss my affairs with someone else? (Red flag) He then said that if I didn't call this particular attorney back that I would be sorry. (Red flag) The attorney's number he gave me was the same as the number he was calling from. (Red flag) I didn't return the call because the moment he hung up I googled the organization and saw these complaints. Be careful when receiving calls about legal matters without supporting documents regarding these matters!!!!

I won't go into telling my story since it is the same as others. I wanted to give an update on the phone number they are now using... (707) 508-4205. Be aware of anyone calling you about legal matters without proper paperwork!!!
