From my personal experience. STAY AWAY FROM SAMMYDRESS.COM. * I'M STUCK WITH A BAG I CAN NOT WEAR. * I PAID A PRICEY AMOUNT FOR SHIPPING. *I TOOK NEARLY 30 DAYS TO GET INCORRECT/ DEFECTIVE ORDER. * I STILL DO NOT HAVE THE HANDBAG THAT I WANTED. * NOW IM AFRAID TO ORDER ANYTHING ELSE FROM THIS SITE BECAUSE IT MAY BE DEFECTIVE AS WELL. *THEY MAY NOT DO THE HONORABLE THING TO RECTIFY THE PROBLEM. The reason I say this is because if you ever have a problem with them shipping you a defective item or the incorrect item, they will most likely try to low ball you and offer you an unacceptable amount for your inconvenience. Here is what happened to me......... I ordered the Ethnic Style Women's Tote Bag With Rivets and Splice Design you know the one we have all seen it.... Its black and white paisley with a teal colored pocket on front and it has FOCUS BABY written on the straps. In the order I had 2 other handbags and a dress. The order totaled $46.43 and the shipping was nearly as much as the order it was $32.63. The order was placed on 8-9-14 and I received the order 9-4-14 nearly 1 whole month later. Also the 3 bags were sent out together and then the dress sent out afterwards but I did get them together. OK so when I opened the bag that I was the most excited to get I was thrilled, that is until I went to put the straps on. Instead of the handbag straps reading FOCUS BABY they read FOLUS BABY.! WHAT is that? I don't know what Fouls is but now I cannot where this defective handbag. And really the straps were what made me buy it. I thought how awesome every time you pick up this bag it would be an encouragement to myself and others to stay focused. So now I'm stuck with a bag that I cannot wear and also as so many other reviews have stated the bag had a horrible, loud, and pungent smell that took a few days to air out with a fan and some dryer sheets.
I contacted Sammy Dress and begged them to send me the correct straps. The ones that are pictured on the site when I placed the order. I told them I do not need a whole new purse only please send me the correct straps. Their response was they would give me 10% off of my next order. That is unacceptable to me because that is making an assumption that I would order from them again. Also why should I have to spend even more money in order to correct an order of money that I have already spent? So then they offered me $2. I said not enough. Then they offered $4 still not enough in my book because...... *IM STUCK WITH A BAG I CAN NOT WEAR. *I PAID A PRICEY AMOUNT FOR SHIPPING. *IT TOOK NEARLY 30 DAYS TO GET THE INCORRECT/ DEFECTIVE ORDER. *I STILL DO NOT HAVE THE HANDBAG THAT I WANTED *NOW I'M AFRAID TO ORDER ANYTHING ELSE FROM THIS SITE BECAUSE IT MAY BE DEFFECTIVE AS WELL. *THEY MAY NOT DO THE HONORABLE THING TO RECTIFY THE PROBLEM..... All I really want are the correct straps that say FOCUS BABY. And if not a $10 refund would be sufficient for my inconvenience of having to email back and forth and bargain back and forth and getting nowhere. Not to mention waiting nearly 30 days to not get what I paid for. And also as far as shipping is concerned
..... WHEN YOU PAY SAMMY DRESS SHIPPING...YOU ARE PAYING THEM TO SHIP THE CORRECT ITEM(s) THAT YOU SAW AND PAID FOR. IF THEY SEND YOU INCCORRECT AND OR DEFECTIVE ITEMS... WHY WOULD YOU PAY TO SHIP IT BACK TO THEM? THEY ARE THE ONES THAT MADE THE MISTAKE NOT YOU. YOUR MONEY WAS GOOD WHEN THEY TOOK IT. THEIR SERVICE AND PRODUCT WAS NOT. WHY SHOULD YOU PAY AGAIN? when you have not even gotten what you paid for the first time? If Sammy Dress would have sent me the correct non-defective straps or given me a $10 refund I would not even be here leaving this review. As of now I have filed a dispute with Pay Pal and am awaiting an resolution. Other items from Sammy Dress were ok for the cheap price. In an previous order I had two pair of earrings that were defective and cannot be worn but they were so cheap I never made a fuss. But as of now my conscience won't let me order from them again because if there are more problems I will be the only one to blame because I know better now. Also reading all the negative reviews on the web is a deterrent for me as well. There are a lot of good reviews but when all the bad reviews are saying the same thing that means there is a problem that you can chose to take as a warning or proceed with blinded eyes. WARNING ALL FACEBOOK FANS AND YOUTUBE SUBSCRIBERS TO STAY AWAY FROM SAMMY DRESS. My case is a small one but if Sammy Dress can or will not properly fix a small problem, My God how will they treat a big problem/ order. I hope this helped someone.
