Signed up for this (Xoom Energy) electricity provider through someone who was promoting an MLM (Multi Level Marketing ) company. Xoom Energy offers a Flex Plan for electricity. The rate starts out comparable to your local provider. After 3 months the rate goes to x2 then x3. So my rate started out @ .06982 /kwh, after 3 months it jumped to .1299 /kwh. The next month it jumped to .1899.
The BBB can do nothing about this, neither can your PUC. BE AWARE.
