My 13 month old was seated in the shopping cart wearing his seat belt and happily babbling and watching me shop. When we get out to are car, I open the door for my 5 year old and then unbuckle my son and go to pick him up and he screams and I notice his leg is stuck in the bars that are located next to the foot hole. How could this have happened with me talking and playing with him as I shopped, how did I not notice until I was ready to pick him up? Anways, I call 911 for assistance and a crowd begin to gather it took three men to bend the bars and free my sons leg. This was very scary for me and even more so for him.
