we are attempting to turn in a Volvo that is in exceptional condition for a lease car. Low mileage, clean and a small repair completed by a Volvo dealer. After the inspection we were handed a estimate for $695.oo dollars of excess wear and tear, including a decal on the car that was put there by Volvo. I stone chip on the front lower bumper, smaller than 1/32nd of an inch, $250 for the repair that was completed by a Volvo dealer and what the inspector describes as dirt in the original paint. What recourse does one have over this type of rep-off? Does the inspector get a percent of the charge?
