I purchased 3 2 year memberships, with one of them being for me. I had physical problems with my back, wrist, shoulder, elbow, so I put my membership on hold which they did for me. In may of 2014 I called to see if my membership was still on hold and I was told it was, I then informed the rep that I wasn't calling to get it activated and I was told that it would not activate until I logged in at one of the gyms, and I told her that's good because I still have medical problems. Well today I called and found out that my membership had been re-activated that day in may. In their notes it doesn't say I requested it to be activated, and there is no record of me not checking into one of their gyms, and there is nothing I could do about it other than get letters from the Doctors involved with my disabilities at those times involved. The trouble is that I go to Harbor UCLA and Family Medical Clinic, and the doctors rotate out of the departments and or hospital, so it will be virtually impossible to get the required info so then they could decide IF I could get my time back. So basically their rep did what she said she wouldn't do and gave me misinformation on top of that. So they made a mistake and I pay the price for it. I was CHEATED by 24 Hour Fitness
