I have always bragged how wonderful ECCO shoes are. I wore it and suddenly the back of the sole opened and black powder came out and falling apart. It took place in my number one customers office making a complete mess. I was so embarrassed when trying to explain. I thought maybe my ex wife set me up with some acid or something. But based on the previous responses this is a manufacturing issue. My other pair is doing the same now.

Ecco should recall all their problematic shoes and make compensations
