It has been five years now that I am struggling to get information and the status of my provident fund from absa. Telephone calls endless no answer, letters registered send no answer, visits to different branches referred to a telephone to no avail or abruptly cut off. My broker has send several emails undelivered ...I AM NO FED UP MIND ME SAYING SO I AM FRUSTRATED AND FED UP. How is this possible. I want my fund out of absa ...I want to know what is the status the growth. I left the bank as an employee 18 years ago. What is happening I have the right to know. They have not send me statements in years. I am done being nice now. Please help me!!!!

Good morning I'm veronica Petersen id nr 8112290235089 I'm so tired of waiting for my money I hope someone can help me I've been waiting for almost 5months NW everytime its a different story I phoned in December last year they told me my claim had been forward as urgent payment and yet I'm still waiting I phoned again the last week of December they told me its still in process I will get it in December nothing happened I send emails but no one even bother to reply to it so I phoned again two weeks back a guy called tolani told me I will receive a msg either to tell me what's the hold up or I will get the money and yet two weeks past and still nothing how long must a person wait to get ur own money they ddnt had a problem taking my money every month but now i must struggle like this to get it I really hope someone will get back to me cause I need that money its mine

It is more than 3 months no that U am waiting for my provudent fund payout. I spend more than R500 to follow op on my payment and still nobody can give me an answer for when I will receive my money. The answer they give me for more than a month now is it is still being processed. Every time they tell me next week but next week comes and goes. Please help!!!!!!

No joy in the payout of my absa provident fund, been waiting +- 6 months now for it only to be given the run around.

i have no alternative now but to contact the ombudsman regarding this matter
