ACS got a hold of my information from Wells Fargo Bank and has taken it upon themselves to consistently harass me even though I finally caved and made several large payments (which I cannot afford) to get them off my back. I am making large monthly payments to my bank as well as MELNET (Federal Government). The interest is astronomical! I have not yet completed my B.A. degree and am working towards towards my LADC, while caring for an elderly person in exchange for rent. Does anyone know if the Minnesota Attorney General is aware of ACS practice of going after people who are making payment to their original lenders? Does anyone have advice on how to stop this madness? I am only a practicing ADC-T (temp license). How can I afford to continue my education at this rate? I am so-o-o frustrated!!!
