Defective product / bad faith dealing

Call for Amazon to Permanently Suspend their 3rd Party Retailer Account with AdventureRV a.k.a. RVSUPPLIES.


TO ALL PARTIES NOW HAVING KNOWLEDGE OF THIS MATTER:

For all the reasons stated herein and at <https://www.complaintboard.com/adventurerv-net-l14700.html#addareview>, I am now calling upon Amazon.com to permanently suspend their 3rd party retailer account with AdventureRV a.k.a. RVSUPPLIES.

Note: "RVSUPPLIES" is a secondary nomenclature used by this company when advertising and selling on Amazon purportedly for the purpose of insulating the company and it's principles from complaints and liability. As the evidence on record clearly demonstrates, this company represents the epitome of fraud, misrepresentation and bad faith dealing and should no longer be associated with the good name of Amazon..

As of Friday, February 10th, 2017, this is the history of the matter of my dealings with Adventure RV who still refuses to send me a new blower motor for our RV furnace to replace the one with defective bearing which they sent after receiving payment via our Amazon Order #102-3755327 - 4277043 of Feb. 2, 2017.

Directly below is an updated version of the (email) letter that I sent to Adventure on 02-07-2017 which they refuse to respond to on the merits.


TO THE OWNER OF ADVANTAGE RV a.k.a. RVSUPPLIES:

It is unfortunate you have forced me to file multiple complaints against you regarding my Amazon Order #102-3755327 - 4277043 of Feb. 2, 2017, which complaint(s) are also filed with: 1) the National Consumer Complaint Forum; 2) the FBI IC3; 3) the FTC; and 4) the Better Business Bureau. Additionally, should I deem it necessary as the matter proceeds, a law suit for fraudulent misrepresentation, bad faith dealing, and any other applicable charges may be forthcoming.

Remember, you are the one who told me to contact Amazon (go elsewhere) if I didn't like the way you handled this matter. Thus, I have done so and will continue to do until you send me the motor I paid for along with a return authorization for the defective one you sent me.

Amazon is a great company and you have tarnished their worthy name. Consequently, your 3rd party seller account with Amazon may now be placed on hold and could possibly even be permanently suspended depending on the outcome of the formal complaint I have filed with them against you (Adventure RV). To protect the public from such unscrupulous predator retailers as Adventure, I certainly hope that happens. You truly deserve to go out of business.

Your online feedback/communications are a disgrace and clearly (purposely) designed to insulate you from customers who have problems with the defective product you sell them, which is what happened in this case. When I was finally able to communicate with your representative (someone named Jon) via your chat system, all I got was obfuscation and deflection. Then he suddenly decided to end (closed out) our chat without my permission. When I tried to reopen the chat, I learned that your computer algorithms had blocked all further communications from my email address. Never in all my life have I dealt with a company so knowingly disingenuous, purposely deceptive and unabashedly dishonest as you, AdventureRV/RVSUPPLIES... never!

Understand; we are in New Jersey where it is cold with a big snow storm about to hit, and until Adventure RV sends us the motor we paid for - one with good free moving bearing - we are forced to use our stove and oven for heat. THEREFORE, YOU NEED TO KNOW THAT IF ANY UNFORTUNATE CONSEQUENCES WERE TO OCCUR AS A RESULT OF THE SITUATION YOU HAVE FORCED UPON US, WE WILL HOLD YOU PERSONALLY LIABLE AND RESPONSIBLE TO THE FULLEST EXTENT OF THE LAW. Thus, if you are wise, you will have your service tech select a new motor with good free moving bearings, and send it out by overnight carrier, IMMEDIATELY!

Understand, this dispute could easily have been avoided if you had simply done as I requested and instructed your service tech to find us a new good motor with free moving (non-defective) bearings, and send it via overnight carrier to the same address you sent the defective motor to, along with a call tag (paid return authorization) to return the defective unit back to you. Had you honored that simple and most reasonable request, all of this could have been avoided.

Perhaps before you screw-over your next customer you may want to consider the consequences should that customer turn out to be a lawyer?

And so, I am now committed and determined to do all I can within the law to see that your account with Amazon is permanently suspended so that you can never again injure another Amazon customer as you have injured myself and the many others whose complaints are now officially stated for the (public) record at <https://www.complaintboard.com/adventurerv-net-l14700.html#addareview>, and which I am, herewith, contemporaneously presenting to Amazon as compelling evidence as to why they must now permanently suspend your account.

I echo what everyone else has stated...I ordered a rooftop air conditioner....It was shipped via Fedex...I got a call from the Fedex facility in Mobile, AL that the ac was damaged and they could not ship it to me and were returning it to Adventure RV...When I called Adventure to try to talk to someone a voice mail stated that they only do online chat and email and would have to open up a ticket # which I did...I asked for a refund as they would get a full refund from Fedex...They have been dancing around for a week saying thet they would refund my money but have not as of yet...I contacted my cc company as I have all the proof I need that I never received the ac and proof that they said they would return my money...Hopefully I will prevail...The customer service for this company is non existent...If you have any problems with your order you are on your own...Lesson here is always call a company first to make sure that you can talk to a real person..Never again with this company and I will let everyone of my RV freinds not to do business with them...They should be investigated...

FRAUDULANT ACTIVITIES

I ordered a RV Microwave which did not fit so I requested an exchange that Adventure RV agreed to. I sent back the microwave and the troubles began. They would not honor the exchange, would not provide a credit, and claimed it was damaged in shipping. They insisted I get my "refund" from the shipper. I notified my credit card company, FIA CARD SERVICES, and they were useless because they believed Adventure RV that the merchandise is damaged but Adventure RV is YET to provide photos or any description, other than, "the top left corner of the box is dented". I filed the claim with the shipper, UPS, and they went to pick up the package and Adventure RV refused to provide them the package. I have since found the manufacturer of the RV Microwave went out of business three years ago, so Adventure RV just buys out old stock and used stock. I filed a complaint with East Tennessee BBB and have received no response or assistance. I have filed a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission and suggest all of you above do the same.

So here I sit $299.92 out and no merchandise. Believe me the fight is not over!!

I wish I would have found these reviews before I purchased. Will never do business with these frauds again. I hope they go out of business.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY, THEY ARE INVOLVED IN FRAUDULANT ACTIVITIES.

I purchased an item via their website - unable to speak to a representative for assistance as they do not provide support via telephone directly, only Chat & email. The item I wished to order was pictured under two different item numbers. The item that contained the correct manufacturer # stated "picture is not of actual item" so I ordered the other item with the same picture. It was most definitely the wrong item. It was never removed from the shipping box. I attempted to use the Chat to obtain a return auth to exchange but was met w/ resistance. I advised I would contact BBB and my CC company but the rep did not respond. I filed a complaint and quickly received a voicemail from a rep at AdventureRV that was insulting and demeaning. I was then caught up in an email war accusing me of not responding as they wanted and sarcastic comments. They even responded to the BBB complaint with sarcastic comments. I WILL NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH THEM AGAIN AND I STILL HAVE AN INCORRECT ITEM that I paid over $200 for.

DAMAGED GOODS

I ordered 225 dollars worth of products and paid shipping costs of 45 dollars for my order. I received my order one of the boxes had been packed by a very careless employee! The box contained 5 rolls of butyl tape and two roof vents. I had ordered these products for my roof replacement project on my RV. One of the vents had a corner that was damaged and all of the rolls of butyl tape were cut and damaged. They had been thrown in the box without any packing material and got damaged due to the packing process not the shipping process. I contacted via email (ridiculous) opened a ticket, sent pictures when told to and then I was informed the damaged was not too bad I just needed to use the products the way I received them. Hmmm NOT!! Contacted my cc company open a dispute for the amount for the damaged products and shipping cost for those items. Have now waited for a month since the return to find out they will not refund shipping costs. WHAT A BUNCH OF BULL S#I* when one of their employees caused all of this problem due to the careless method of packing the products in the first place. Needless to say ADVENTURERV.NET are truly a bunch of rip off jerks, there is NO WAY to get to talk to anyone, on line is how they operate so they can hide behind the internet. RIDICULOUS DO NOT EVER ORDER ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY. THEY ARE TRULY AN INTERNET RIP OFF.

The worst. The absolute worst. I ordered over $2000 worth of products to BC, Canada.

This is their stated Canada shipping protocol:

Canada Shipping:
Shipments to Canada are shipped via USPS International Priority Mail, FedEx Express International Economy (2-3 day), FedEx Ground or UPS. In any case the brokerage fee will be not more than $10. All duties and taxes are the responsibility of the buyer.

Complete BS. They emailed me saying 'do you have a broker?'. Of course I don't have a broker! Thats your job! So apparently, this $700 would only get as far as the border. Then apparently I have to pay for the rest. I inquired as to the weight of the parcel. They did not give this information. I'm pretty sure you could get FedEx to send anything, any weight, anywhere for that money, but no. I was not allowed this information. They apparently just got bored, and sent me a message saying 'you will be refunded'. So far, no refund.

So, don't deal with this company. Don't buy anything from them, don't visit their site. They are CROOKS. They are corrupt. They provide no customer service, their emails are piss poor. I don't know who they employ but the employees give as much of a damn about the customers as Austin and Amanda Socinski.

The worst. I've never had an experience with an online retailer as bad as this. STAY AWAY.

Deception Exposed

Austin and Amanda S. Socinski are the twin children of Leonard F Socinski & Suzanne R Socinski, who seem to now operate AdventureRV.net. They follow in the steps of their dad - Leonard F Socinski - who has made a whole lot of money by using strong arm methods of control and by using trickery. He is also a car dealer who made much off of tricking people. They use law enforcement connections to bully customers who won't comply with their deceptive ways.

Amanda S. Socinski listens into the calls of workers from AtWork Personnel Services of Seveirville, TN. The Socinski family instructs temporary workers to deceive customers.

Amanda has a toilet mouth which she repeatedly curses about customers and their rights.

Beware of these frauds!

Bad service

I received a shipment today (8/26)and the box was broken open with the packing materials falling out. What I found inside was disturbing. A previous customer's angry letter accompanying his return shipment which Adventure RV never read. As it turned out I have the same problem as this previous customer--wrong size because the website did not specify sizes. Seems that Adventure RV only forward a return to me and now I have no box to return my shipment! I will never buy from Adventure RV. One "Adventure" was enough.

Update: Discovered that what they sent were HappiJac brackets in an Atwood bracket box... stay tuned...

DONT BUY HERE, OVERALL BAD SEEVICE AND YOU WILL NEVER SPEAK TO A REAL PERSON. THEY HIDE BEHIND THEI AUTOMATED VOICE .
