Several times since last fall (2019), I have attempted to contact Aeroplan by phone - first in order to apply some of my miles to a flight on Air Canada; NOT ABLE TO DO SO PAID FOR IN FULL BY SELF & WOULD LIKE TO HAVE MILES APPLIED RETROACTIVELY AND BE REFUNDED. Secondly, it appears since I Logged In to my Membership Records in early March and was able to use miles to "buy" gift cards, THERE IS APPARENTLY A "NEW" SYSTEM; one needs a Verification Code and I have now wasted 2 hours over the past 2 days, obtaining same 6 or 7 times, only to be told they were NOT VALID! So tried calling - now 2 times SO HAVE WAITED ANOTHER 30 MINUTES, plus another 40 today - just like back in 2019 - only now the excuse for the "expected long wait is the Covid Virus - WHAT A JOKE! If I continue to be "locked out" of my account, I will be signing on to the first class action suit I learn about as I think it is past time that Air Canada dissolved it's association with Aeroplan. In last couple of months I couldn’t speak with you. I don’t know what is happening with your system.
First of all you charged me with 115,000 miles for business class. From Calgary to Frankfurt and Belgrade I had a business class, but in return Belgrade –Frankfurt-Toronto Calgary I had business only for Frankfurt to Toronto. That is ¼ th of the trip was not covered. Therefore I demand to have miles returned as follows:
115,000 : 4 = 28,750.

In regard of this trip I want you to know:

Flight from Calgary to Frankfurt was delayed and I missed my connection flight. I had a hell of the time to rebook my flight to Belgrade.
Airport is huge and I had to run like hell to rebook. First I was on Gate, after that Lufthansa and finally AirCanada boot. It required couple of hours fast walking and 2 check points.

In return flight Belgrade –Frankfurt again flight was delayed and I got in last moment to check in for Toronto after using bus, train and half hour walk.

This summer I have to travel to Belgrade again. I don’t think that I will use Air Canada.
