Account being compromised

Suddenly I've got email of Agoda confirmation for hotel has been booked through my Agoda account. and after the I checked my account and saw there was really booking made from my Agoda Account. And that was at night around 10pm, this was really scared me...

I tried to cancel the booking, but that is a non-refundable booking. Booking was made from one of my saved credit card in Agoda account. I have captured all of those, which I might use for confirmation with Agoda.

I send complaint through Agoda and they told me they can't cancel the booking as this is a non-refundable booking. I have removed my credit card and changed my Agoda's password.

Just sharing this case for awareness that be REALLY careful to put and save your credit card in your Agoda account.

After I cancelled that booking, I checked thoroughly. Booking was made from one of my saved credit card in Agoda account and person who booked it even changed phone number and verified it. I have captured all of those, which I might use for confirmation with Agoda.

I send complaint through Agoda and they only told me to change password only (which I already did). I asked for location and IP from the person but they couldn't let me know.

Just sharing this case for awareness that be REALLY careful to put and save your credit card in your Agoda account.

My VIP guest need to Pay at Hotel

Dear AGODA,

I report similar problems many times without any solution. I am one of your loyal user, you may check my history. I always feel very convenience using your service for many years.

But recently I feel very uncomfortable with your policy that your cooperation with Booking.Com which SOMETIMES makes me confuse that my booking has not paid yet, and I have to pay at the property. Your reason was this booking made by Booking.com. But can you imagine if I book this for my important guest?

You gave me option when I entered my personal info, there is check box "I'm not staying in any of the rooms on this booking. I'm making this booking for someone else." So before, I conveniently use this check box in order to service my important guest by booking hotel room for him, and I pay the bill.

Now I almost can't do that anymore as I can only figured out that my booking already paid or not after I received your Booking Confirmation and it will written with small letter: "Note to the property: Allotment under booking.com reservation number ****** Payment for this booking will be collected by the property."

While above this small notification there is a BIG remarks "Your booking is confirmed and complete!"

It happened 2 times that my VIP guest was charged by the hotel to himself after I complete my reservation and it really made me lose my face to them. Sometimes I have to make a booking in rush as I never notice the status of payment.

I complained about this to your customer service they they were easily blame me as I did not look the feature "Pay at Hotel" when I choose the hotel room. But you should understand whenever I want to find a hotel, I will compare 5 - 10 hotel rooms at the same time, so it will be very easy for your customer to slip this feature remarks, and then make a wrong booking.

My complaint here is purely for Agoda as my favourite booking website to be better. I want my lovely 'previous' Agoda system back again. Or at least you have to make it CLEARLY that when I make booking for someone else, the feature 'pay at hotel' will become unavailable.

Incorrectly advertised hotel rating!

HI,

Today I checked into the Blue point hotel under the above mentioned reference. # 68903205 - 1st of May, 2015

When I got to my room, I was utterly disappointed with the state of the hotel, I questioned the hotel as to how they were rated 4 star? to which they replied, "we do not have a star rating", to my confession I showed them the advertisement of there hotel on Agoda and hotels-combined - clearly advertising a 4 star hotel. They said this was an "error by Agoda".

I left the hotel disgusted as it was not to the standard I wanted or paid for, as such I request a full refund as soon as possible.

I have a letter from the hotel stipulating the above and that I should not be charged for this, I can email this to you, if you provide an address to send this to.
