Payment Unsuccessful But Payment Deducted

To whom it may concern,

Good day!

Please be informed that I did a payment today for Agoda (Holland Guest House) today. However, upon booking, it says in the app - Payment unsuccessful. Please use another card payment.

So, I tried again because i thought it is because of the internet connection. But payment failed again. So I closed the app.

Now, I received a message from my credit card that payment has been made with Agoda but I did not received any confirmation from Agoda App.

This is very alarming to me. Please take action how that happened.

Gentlemen:



Reference the subject, you are hereby enjoined to release exact pertinent information on your reported / alleged request made with your Bank to process a reversal for the amount that was pre-authorized on the debit card used for the said AGODA DEBIT WITHOUT SALE (Double Charged) FRAUDULENT TRANSACTION.



In connection with the above, you are to provide SPECIFIC and DETAILED INFORMATION on the:



(1) Name of Your Bank;

(2) Bank Branch;

(3) Exact Date and Time of Actual Reversal; and

(4) Other Such Needed Material Information



This, in order to track and to process the credit back to the concerned account the amount that Agoda pre-authorized on the debit card in connection with the said AGODA DEBIT WITHOUT SALE (Double Charged) FRAUDULENT TRANSACTION.



Supporting Documents are imperative for transmittal, for proof of compliance.



Be informed that despite your dubious claim to an alleged request for reversal with your bank, as contained in numerous other e-mail replies to this subject long-protracted complaint on the said AGODA DEBIT WITHOUT SALE (Double Charged) FRAUDULENT TRANSACTION, no such amount has been credited back to the savings (debit card) account concerned – per due diligent trace with Metrobank Roces Branch starting from the month of November 2017 up to the present month of May 2018.



Fail not at your peril to revert back IMMEDIATELY to this procedural inquiry, consistent with pertinent Consumer Protection Laws, governing the sale, marketing and practice of Agoda.com in the Philippines and related governing International Consumer Protection Laws.



Herewith attached are scan files of supporting documents lodged and duly officially receipted before the proper agency concerned, for the record.

AGODA MADE TWO MISTAKES AND THEY LET ME SUFFER:

1. AGODA failed to confirm my reservation in time.

2. I called their hotline THREE TIMES, but no one reply.



I booked twice through Agoda for one night from Dec 29 to Dec 30 and for 7 nights from Jan 2 to Jan 9 on Dec 26.

I got confirmation on the Dec 29th night, but I did not get confirmation for 7 nights' booking.

I waited several days for confirmation and I called agoda hotline on Dec 29th 3 times. But no one answered.

I thought that Agoda failed to book room for me, so I booked again through Booking on 29th. But AGODA suddenly sent an email to me ask me to pay $729.95 for that 7 nights on Jan 1. I replied that they did not confirm in time and I have booked 7 nights through Booking. But they just did not care about it. They insist that I have to pay even though I explained the situation. Then I ceased my credit card and in the end, AGODA still took $729.95 from me anyway.



DO NOT USE AGODA!!

What Hotel

I found in my visa statement of account worth 4397.72 pesos last March 14, 2018 paid in agoda but i cant find it in any of my booking.if any pls send me again the hotel details pls. Thank you

Breach of contract/ swindling

I Booked SG 3 bedroom Namba Osaka Japan. I PAID IN full for july 16 to 19 2016 stay. AGODA booking no. 100455175. When we try to coordinate with the owner, we were told that it was already booked for another person... OH MY GOSH... this is a fraudulent act on the part of Agoda. WHAT ARE YOU DOING, AGODA?

This Agoda should be taught a lesson.. it is stealing our hard earned money.
