Airtel Prepaid SIM Card Deactivated - Please help

Dear Airtel Team,

This is Babu from Andhra (Tirupathi) and my Airtel number is +919959093969 ,I am using this same number from last 7-8 years.

As, I am in London from last 2 years but I'm visiting India frequently with in 6 months and my Airtel number always activated here in London and I used to do recharge frequently. For some reason suddenly my Airtel number has been DE-ACTIVATED last month.This is the only number which I have been using for all my bank transactions ,electricity bill & etc .

Please consider and ACTIVATE BACK this same number on the same sim as soon as possible .So ,it will very helpful for me for all my bank transactions. I didn't receive any warning message or single SMS or any notification from Airtel provider, suddenly my Airtel number DE-ACTIVATED.

Please activate my number ASAP ,its very urgent for further banking transactions or for other use, I need to do some urgent transactions but due to number not activated I am not able to proceed for banking transactions and its very URGENT. I'm ready to recharge or pay additional charges required for this activation.

Looking for your kind response as soon as possible.

Please take this matter in URGENT basis and consider this mail my personal request to ACTIVATE my number. THanks in Advance!

Prepaid balance is draining out

I am living in overseas therefore I don't use my Airtel prepaid India number at all. But still my prepaid balance in the main account is draining out for every few weeks. I have contacted numerous times the customer care but unfortunately all attempts were useless. I was not sure where to lodge the complaint and how to get my money back?


Any ideas?

Balance being deducted for sms for no reason

I recharged my sim(9971113683) about 10 days ago and since then my balance is being deducted almost everyday @ Rs 1.50 per sms which I am not even sending to anyone. I called the customer care but they didn't solve my problem. The guy whom I talked to said it was my phone's problem...what an idiotic answer. I am really dissatisfied with the service airtel is providing on this issue..
If the higher authority could solve my problem they will have my trust back otherwise I will just have to switch to some other service provider...

I want my prepaid number back

My name is vishal chaudhary I have used an airtel number which is 8800269700 which was discontinued last year in July or August without any intimation and I also visit regarding this so many airtel store and they didn't ready to provide any info regarding this .I really need that no back whether in prepaid or postpaid format but I really that number back and an airtel store employee inform that this number will be again available for isuue after one year and it's going to be one year and I really don't wanna loose that number and you can contact me on 9599502034 or on my email - [email protected] .

My mobile number was deactivated

Dear Sir,
I am from Tamilnadu and working in Oman,I can't use my number 9894157891 for past one week, today I tried to use (cell# 9894157891). My mobile number status is deactivated (cell# 9894157891).Please look in to this and re- activate this at the earliest?

SMS pack recharged yet deducting amount on message

Hi there,

I am facing this weird issue, I have activated message pack of Rs. 31, for 30 days in which I got 300 messages. But even after this successful recharge, when i send message my balance gets deducted as per normal charges. Some times it don't deduct money and says this much (in number) messages remaining.

But most of the time money gets deducted. This is really a bad costumer experience. I have changed my number recently to airtel and I am really getting pissed off by this.
Please reply me as soon as possible with some solution. If you want some more details, I can provide you because I have taken screenshots of my mobile screen.

[Resolved] Consumer complaints and reviews about Airtel Prepaid

With respect to my previous complaint, I called up Airtel nodal office, Bangloare (Phone: +91 9972534865, +080 41218070). I again talked to some CC person (Name: Ashwita). She resolved my issue and I was refunded the amount immediately and also registered for the DND service (however, the call went on for about 10 minutes and I was charged for that as per my calling rates).

Illegal subscription without consent

My name is Dipen. I have been charged Rs. 99 for a bollywood value pack which I did not buy. In the past, Re.1 was deducted everyday for some value pack which I did not buy. I called the customer care many times but they say 'we cannot do anything sir'.

This has not only wasted my money but also my time. The customer care calls get disconnected abruptly, the customer care executives say 'please be on hold' and then just hang up.

Please refund my money.

Deduction of balance

Sir,

I have the following complaints against Airtel (Kolkata circle) which I need rectified as soon as possible.
Name of customer: Rajarshi Roychowdhury
Number: 9007486775

(1) A 26 Rs Message pack was activated by Airtel on 27/03/2012 at 10:30 am under the auto-renewal facility. However on 28/3/2012, the sms were charged and Re 1 was deducted for every sms sent to an airtel number. Total sms sent on 28/3 was less than 25 (obtained by dialing *125*5#). Likewise, Rs. 25 has been wrongfully deducted form my account.

A complaint was made to Airtel customer care however the complaint number was not received by me.

As I have activated my message pack on 27/3, hence the problem lies with Airtel (as confirmed by customer care executive). I will continue to message, and expect all the balance which has been wrongfully deducted be remitted back into my account.

(2) I wish to lodge a complaint against Mr. Biplab Sarkar (airtel Kolkata), who behaved rudely and refused to take my complaint. I repeatedly mentioned my problem, but he refused to lodge the complaint, and disconnected the phone without my permission. I STRONGLY protest against this kind of treatment towards Airtel customers, and expect an apology from the concerned person. Please note that I will not hesitate to take this case further with Airtel authorities till I receive a solution to my problem.
