bought a furnace from AEG then financing contract bought by One Dealer Financial. SCUMBAGS !

Stopped payments ( very almost impossible) suggest never use auto withdrawls as you cannot stop !!! Plus if they wanted to they could go into your account and clean it out legally !

Had pretrial with provincial Judge. Alberta courts will hammer these scumbags if you persue in court. Many alberta laws in your favor.

In May of 2016 my mother answered her door to an AEG sales person. They asked to see her water bill and wanted to see the water heater because they were authorized by the government to upgrade water heaters that were not up to code. Thinking they were with the government and trustworthy, she let them in. They signed her up for a new one and it was installed the next day! So much for the 10 day cooling off period! When she told me about it I looked all over the heater but no sticker saying where it was from. Also, no paperwork was left so we couldn’t call them. For all we knew a water heater fairy stopped by and left her one..
Fast forward a couple months and the same thing happened with a new air conditioner. And old lady with early dementia who is alway cold being pressured into signing for an air conditioner. And again, next day delivery so there’s no backing out..
So now she’s stuck paying for these for 8 more years and to get out of the contract is going to be thousands of dollars.

Iwas led into signing a contract to replace my furnace sometime in 2016 even if my furnace is in good condition and just purchased the house a year ago. They asked for banking onformation and was charged for a year with the amount that we havent agreed upon. Now my bank acvount was closed and a ompany ahs been calling me for the payments. How i should go about with this? If you can pls help me because its a lot of money and thyere asking me to pay for it for 10 yrs and that the unit is just rented out. If you can help me out pls. I searched and the company is closed already.
