I went into a application with Allied Capital back in August 2010, the name in mention is Gordon Tailby . He told me I would have to pay a deposit of over £4, 000 . I did and they sent me a letter that I should provide a guarantors, my reply to them was I do not have one. After a long period, I sent an email to say I am not in the position to provide a guarantor and would like to know if the deposit is refundable . From then till now, I call, send emails, and complaint, but no one have the guts to reply. The name mention, did not even try to contact me. I went to the building where their office is but they would not let me in as you have to make appointment. When you call their number, all you get is voice message. I would like to know how and what can be done to get these people or company to STOP cheating us from hard earned money. £4, 000 is a lot to through away. Please! if someone know something, share it.
