I was fooled too by this company! I received a statement per 1 month and was shocked, they charged me 2 times $199.98 and $171.30 each with no receipts, with no permit to do it !!! What a scram!
When I found their contact information (it was not easy, because so many telephone numbers and web sites are not in service) I called them and tried to return their product, the answer was: "we do not have a receiving department and it will be send back automatically". I have no words to describe my feelings.

If someone has the same story, please share, let people know about ALVENA and DUODERMA service.

I was also FOOLED by this company AVENA, DUODERMA. I also tried their free trial that was posted at their website only to find out that they will charge your credit card $173.71 (Canadian dollars) after 14 days . Once you try their free trial, this company SKIN SIMPLIFIED will charge your credit card automatically so if your not checking your transactions ever month, oh boy! you better do it now!
I only find out this SCAM when I phoned my credit card to dispute the amount $173.71. My credit card advised to follow up with Alvena.I spoke with this SHARON from Skin Simplified and told her that I didn't placed an order except for the free trial. She asked 'did you read the terms and condition?' I told her that I didn't consent the company to send the product and charge my credit card every month of $173.71. I was pissed off! Anyway, the company didn't refund 100% of my money, they offered 50% refund and told them to CANCEL future orders. Oh boy, be careful with this FREE TRIAL you are seeing online. Don't be one of us!

it is definitely a SCAM! I was stupid enough to believe the fake reviews they put up on their website. I was charged over 400 cad for the crap creams, which I wouldn’t even use as hand cream… I called my credit card company, they knew right away and told me they got these type of calls all the time. my credit card agent advised me to call the company to cancel the subscription. I called back, the SENIOR agent who named Rick, employee number 2041800 advised me I should have read the fine print before I agreed the conditions. and should have called back within 14 days I don’t want the cream. I offered to send them back to get a refund. of course, they wouldn’t even accept their own garbage. I am so pissed I was so stupid to waste my sweat and blood on some scam which is going to end up in the garbage! hope no one fall into the same scam as I did!
