American Eagle ran a offer during Christmas that for every 75. Dollars you spend buying gift cards they will send you a 25. E gift card
Dec 26. Up to two cards per customer. So I bought three 50.dollar cards so I would get the 2 ecards to give to my sister for Christmas since
She shops at American eagle and I do not. Well they never sent the ecards. So I ask my sister to contact customer service through chat
Since I was busy and she did they said they would look into it but more than likely it went to my spam so I had my server checked and no it did not go to spam. Then American eagle wrote me a email saying it was a oversite and would get them out within 24 to 48 hours
Well that never happened either. I screen shot the offer and the terms of the offer at the time of my purchase. If anyone else is having the same experience please make it known. I believe American eagle is banking on no one taking action or complaining in a public forum. No one ever wants to be misled when making a purchase. I see more and more why retail is struggling and amazon is the future of retail. Amazon has much better customer service my husband thinks amazon is the best thing since peanut butter. I myself see why after being burned else where. I will purchase my sister a gift card else where but it will not ever be for American Eagle.
