Veterinarian Killed Our Cat But Amex Still Accepts Charges!
1.) Amex has been sent DETAILED paperwork on the negligence of a Veterinarian who viciously and incompetently suffocated our beloved Siamese Cat to Death at their Vet offices. They were CHARGED with SECOND DEGREE NEGLIGENCE by the State Board of NY and the Vet herself was warned that she will lose her License if another complaint is filed.
2.) Amex was uncaring, apathetic, and even abusive to me about this case. They accepted the charges for a "service" that never happened because they killed our cat prior to any surgery even starting with their negligence. They just accepted the weak excuses from the Vet's [horribly abusive] office manager who sent nonsensical letters to Amex demanding to know if Amex has any "Veterinarians on staff" to really know if they were negligent or not! Her attitude was sarcastic, caustic, and hateful.
3.) Amex did not care about the pathetic and hateful responses and kept allowing the charges to stay on my card. Even when I produced the State Board of NY paperwork clearly stating that they had been charged with negligence, it was clear that Amex will do anything to ignore any responsible and reasonable investigation. They just take the charges of the Merchant no matter how bogus and even outrageous. To add insult to injury, I have been met with uncaring staff in Customer Service who are more than happy to get argumentative and even took horrifying pleasure in telling me that the Vet "conducted services!" NO, they did not. They are charging me for a surgery that NEVER happened because they killed our cat before they started due to their own Negligence! Who pays for Negligence? They don't bother to answer me and just smugly tell me to send in even more paperwork to no end. They just send a form letter a few weeks later telling me it is a "legal" matter in order to slither out of any dealings with this dispute.
4.) This is a low-end company who has fallen very far into the dark world of abusing the Customer/Consumer without giving a damn about the fact that the Consumer is their bread-and-butter. Who will bother to accept Amex if the Consumers stop carrying this bad-service "BS" card?
I was a customer for more than 25 years, and I am now canceling all of my cards with this arrogant, ignorant, deceitful and monstrous company who morphed themselves into a 'Bank' a few years ago in order to receive Taxpayer Bailout Money! Time to switch AWAY from this very bad company.

customer for 20 years never late always paid in full.they refused to do a small customer service issue and yelled at me.i cancelled my account and they will never get my business back.certainly they screwed me out of my miles.if corporate america contunues like like, ceo;s like blackstones getting paid 200 plus millions a year we become slaves of them.we should boycott the purchse of their share and the use of their services. i am a patriot but may be foreign companies have still more respect and manners
