I financed a car through this company. I abought another car and financied it through another source. I forgot to cancel the automatic payment. The dealer paid off the car 5-20. Americredit sent the dealer the title about two weeks later, but has not refunded my money. They claim they want to make sure the dealer's check clears. I was never late on my payments. This company is dishonest and takes advantage of the little person. They did not mess with the big auto dealer, which is one of the largest in my state. I do not recommend this company.

These guys are effing scumbags- when you are a few days late they begin contacting family and friends in an attempt to get you to call them and settle up. Definitely an unethical company worth suing.

I suggest you contact a firm to sue them, like Lemberg & Associates, and stick it to these guys (btw I am a friend of the daughter of the man on a loan as outlined above. I am NOT on the loan as a contact; they got my info online as I was associated with his daughter's husband; so you can see the scumbaggery being displayed here). you can only image how embarrassing this must have been for him.

The Representative who called me was very elusive about WHY she was calling.
