Made money with their appraiser

Amerisave underwriter pressured us to get our home appraised immediately while terms were being discussed. The appraisal cost us $700. Later on the process, Amerisave refused to refinance our home unless we close and drop our home equity loan from another bank. Now we got ourselves a worthless appraisal.
