Please could someone help me we submitted an COMPENSATION FOR OCCUPATIONAL INJURIES claim on the 29/10/2008, this claim was rejected due to a mistake on the Labour Department’s calculation, which we than had to file an objection which was held on the 28/08/2014 and we were awarded the claim due to the error the Compensation fund had made. I was told it will take no longer than 3 weeks to be sorted out its now been almost 12 weeks and every time you call the office (When you can get through) the tell you to phone another department or that person is off sick and they never get back to you, I contacted your Durban office on the 4th November 2014 they told me it has all been processed and gave us the amount due to be paid out, and that payment will be released by no latter that WED the 12th November 2014 I phoned Durban again today they told me to phone 0123199135 I phoned and was told the payment has to be Authorised in order for the payment to be released, so I contacted your Durban office again on 0313361784 and was once again told that the problem lies in Pretoria and to phone 0123199135 as everything was sorted the problem is with the system and Pretoria must deal with it. This is an ongoing problem, You spend days trying to get hold of the Department of labour only to get no assistance at all, what is happening with this department, Please could you get a senior person to assist me as this is now becoming a huge problem as Pretoria is blaming Durban and Durban is blaming Pretoria and they say the system does not work and I firmly believe it’s not the system that does not work it’s the people not knowing how the system works. should you require any documents please feel free to contact me
