I knew this was a fraud letter the second I saw that I had to send in MONEY. Anytime you have to give or send in money to total strangers you just got to know it's a CROOKED person behind it. Always, always, always keep in mind that if it (Sounds Too Good To Be True) It's more than likely is too good to be true!!!!!!!!!
I actually tore the letter up as soon as I saw that I had to pay something. I threw it in the garbage and it stayed there for two days...when I went to take the garbage out I saw all this paper ripped apart and remembered what it was... I knew it was a scam so that made me curious enough to want to find out who is doing this to unsuspecting, desperate people.
I decided to try to piece the paper back together to see if there was a name tied to it.
I was able to tape together two pieces of torn paper that gave me a name Authorized by: Larry Hourd. I went online and type his name in the search box and BAM! He's a SHYSTER. I knew it!
I just want to say to all the hopeful people out there praying to hit the jackpot one day as I hope to too one day… Just do a little bit of research before you make a move and spend your hard earn money.
Pay attention to RED FLAGS and your gut feelings. Most of us research buying a car, house, shopping online, searching for items we can’t find in the nearest store… yet we don’t do our homework when it comes to doing research on scam artists. They make a living doing this. If one million people sent this dude just a dollar… this would make him a millionaire.
If you really think about it it’s really outrageous that you would think that all you have to do is give someone $12.00 bucks and you will get between one and two million dollars in return...
Next time if I get one of these scam letters I think I’ll send back a note telling them to take the $11.89 out of my CHECK.
Yes, take it out of the 2,000,000 million dollars you going to send me, because Hey, I’m good for it.
That should leave me with... Let’s se.e ee that leaves me with about.. $1, 999,988.11,
P. S. Please read the small, small print. It does say you’re not a winner (yet.)
And I say or (Ever will be a winner) COME ON PEOPLE! , This has SCAM written all over it.
Also remember you should never pay for prizes or winnings and Publisher Clearing House actually knock on you door to give you the check.
Peace Out
