Purchased Anderson storm door 3000 series (self storing screen) from Home Depot. When the door is all glass it does not close properly and wind caused it to damage as it does not have a stop feature to keep it from getting damaged. We are very careful about making sure the door is closed and catches the latch. however, the difficulty arises when someone comes to the door when we are not home. They open the door and just leave if we do not answer. They do not make sure the door catches the latch and is securely closed. We have no control over this. I purchased this in Home Depot and the salesperson did not disclose any difficulties with the door.

I called Anderson to ask about a wind chain and was told i cannot install one on the door as it voids the warranty. We now have to keep the storm door permanently locked which defeats the purpose of the door. I am now trying to return this door to home depot but have little faith. This door is useless and does not provide a function if it has to stay locked all the time.
