They didn't return my UHaul as promised, and I was charged an extra day by UHaul. They put additional miles on the UHaul and used the gas for which I was charged by UHaul too. They damaged almost ALL of my furniture. The movers were incompetent. They didn't know how to properly load my belongings and took an excessive amount of time to load the truck. They wouldn't acknowledge that the items wouldn't fit in one truck and make 2 trips until 4 hours after we told them that it was the case. When they finally understood that a second trip was required, it was very late in the day. They were tired and dumped my 2nd load in the garage, leaving me to move all the boxes and furniture as well as assemble it. I told them upfront that I didn't want a "deal" and get bad laborers. I would rather pay for good service, as I am a single mom and can't do it alone. They sent a guy who looked like a crack addict and told me that I "couldn't expect doctors and lawyers for movers." They knocked 4 holes in my walls too. Stay away from them. It was a miserable, costly experience for me.

Mike Manzi continues to show his classless personality answering complaints against his awful and unprofessional company. Seriously...would you do business with this con artist? Too many movers in area to use this clown. Call STL police and ask about him and his movers.

I am in no way affiliated with the above complaint, fake or not. I stumbled upon this review while researching moving companies I am looking to hire in about a month. I must say that addressing a complaint in this fashion really reflects poorly on the company and the owner. I've never complained about a company before, but I do my homework. Seeing as this is the third complaint I've come across regarding this company, and seeing the way they handle criticism, I will definitely not be using Arch Movers. To Mike, you would be better off offering a way to rectify the situation, even if this is a fake complaint. This is a public forum that shows up within the first few search results on Google. Potential customers would rather see you as a concerned business owner rather than a paranoid narcissist. Take note, I for one find it quite sad to see a small business owner behave so irrationally.
