ARO is a quasi collection agency owned by the Ogilvie Group and hired by, in this case, the Province of Ontario to collect debts, fees and fines owed to the province.
The employees that I have dealt with over the last 6 years have been : unprofessional, disorganized, poorly trained, rude, impatient and lacking in business and social skills

Today was the final straw.
Received a call from them (1-866-427-3655)with an extension #.(3531)
I called the company back and upon entering the extension # I was "greeted" by a very rude, surly female person advising me that she has my # and she would call me back.

I waited and then called her back again. Perhaps because we are all in the throes of this coronavirus situation her patience was rather lacking and she virtually shouted that they were having "technical difficulties". I asked when I would be able to speak to her or anyone regarding the matter (which, frankly , will never be totally resolved as I am a retired pensioner in my '70's with stage 4 cancer and no assets or income whatsoever)
Our "conversation" deteroriated and she stated loudly "at least I pay my debts !".....(as if she and I were competing?)

The telephone numbers for ARO are now blocked and although I have always returned their calls I will NEVER again return any of their calls , let alone even spend a minute listening to their voice message. (The Province of Ontario is wasting monies paying this company anything at all...hopefully the contract is commission on monies collected only.)
