My name is Vanessa Moragne. I moved out to Greenwood SC in December 2016. When I moved down here I had New York insurance so I switched to Humans. I was told I had Dental, eye and pharmacy coverage. I decided to go to the dentist because it had been six months. I submitted my insurance card as required. Had work done on my mouth; once I finished I was told to see the Aspen Dental Manager Levi which I did. He had me fill out for Dental First Financing; I thought why I have insurance. Then I though maybe it didn't cover everything. I did the application over the computer with Levi he told me I had been accepted for 3,000 I told him I didn't need that much. Because I had insurance so I wouldn't need much. Well my bill came to 1,521.00 for gum disease. Well when I received it was less 362.40. I started paying what I received from DFFinancing which was 900+ so I thought okay my insurance paid the 362.40. Next thing I notice when I went to get a loan it was on my credit report. The reason I am writing your company is I have documented proof that my insurance was never contacted or charged for payment. Instead it went into collections. Not fair my insurance should have be notified and charged. It hasn't been a year this dental procedure was done in June 2017. I would like to have it pulled from collections and sent to the insurance company I had last year. The lady I spoke to in collections said Aspen would have to pull it out of collections.
