I went there to Aspen Dental on Peachtree PKWY in Peachtree Corners, GA to have a dental cleaning on November 13, 2019. I wanted to use my dental insurance that I have been paying for the whole year. I ended them my insurance card and they ended me a tablet with tiny letters that could not read and told me just sign it is for my insurance and my address. Unbeknown to me, that was an application for a credit line to dental first which they charged $889.00. I fell uncomfortable and called my dental insurance as soon as I left the office, they told me the charge should not exceed $271.00 for dental cleaning and I am covered for dental cleaning. The next day I went back to the office and confronted them and demanded an itemized receipt. The bill was inflated so reflect the charges including $135.00 of an electric tooth brush that I never received. The $271.00 that my dental insurance told me should I have been the charge, is shown 4 times in the bill. When I questioned it, they said it was for 4 quadrant of my teeth. I don't know what to do now! I have been going back and forth with them and the line of credit with the bank, I don't seem to be going anywhere with them. Who pays $900.00 bucks for dental cleaning? The X-Ray they took, the dentist said, my teeth are in good shape, no cavities! The dental hygienist spent 15 minutes cleaning my teeth and on my way out gave a tooth paste and mouth rinse bottle that is all. I need help, I do rideshare to pay my bills. I don't have that kind of money.
