Can’t cancel my service even though they tell me it’s canceled

I’ve canceled my ATT service in April I have no contracts I/O them no money on products and they will not cancel my contract for service they send me a $51 bill amid month for my iPad I moved my service in April to Verizon and do not want my iPad at AT&T and do not use it it’s old and their continued to send me a bill for $51 per month I’m in Birmingham Alabama I’ve talk to AT&T service in Georgia Houston in Arizona
