We are tired of the long and unnecessary waiting to get through the customer service line just to buy a lotto ticket. These lines are almost always filled with aliens sending money to other countries which takes at least 20 minutes for each of them. No wonder the line is always about 20 feet long.
When I asked the attendant why they didn't have a 2nd checker to help I just got a cold scuff about how Safeway didn't have enough people and something about that Safeway stores don't do that anyway. Meanwhile, there was other workers walking in and out of the service area laughing and joking with the one checker working our line. Please Safeway, manage your employees better as the costumers' time should be more respected.
