This company had rang me three times this week, but as I can't understand indian I hung up..Tonight they rang back with a well spoken man, that tried to convince me that I needed their protection for my software, and that they represented Microsoft, they did provide me with a telephone number..0872001700.which I rang, a male answered"auslogix service provider"

He neally had me convinced, untill he told me the price for something that I can't see, feel, or able to prove that was even there..so I hung up and got onto the internet..scam...

Just wanted to mention that the Auslogix scam has nothing to do with the legitimate Australian company Auslogics Software. The crooks are using the company’s good name (changed the ending to x), calling people in different countries claiming to be a Microsoft-authorized service provider and asking for full remote access to people’s computers. Auslogics Software, just like any other legitimate company trusted in the industry, would never resort to such tactics - they do not call up people out of the blue trying to talk them into buying stuff. There have been reports of these scam calls occurring in India, Europe and Australia. The voices on the phone usually have an Indian accent (the country India, not American Indian). Auslogics Software has announced on multiple occasions that they have nothing to do with these calls, and they are a victim in this situation just like the people who fall for the scam, as their good reputation is being targeted. I personally have been using Auslogics software programs for years and can attest to their high quality an great reputation. The only place I ever get Auslogics programs from is the company's website.
