I've received several pop-up ads on my desktop from a company called "AVC Antivirus" that are extremely annoying. First a screen with the AVC logo appears, followed by a pop-up over that screen that produces a loud, annoying buzzing sound, claims to have found 5 virus threats on my system, and gives a phone number - (855) 820-4763 - to "call for support" - I don't have this company's softeare on my system and didn't ask for their advertising. I have several protective barriers, including two firewalls and two excellent anti virus programs, running constantly. Apparently AVC has figured out how to get past such protections.

When I called their number and expressed a complaint, the "agent" on the other end hung up on me. I tried again and spoke briefly with another "agent," who advised me that there was no superior, no marketing supervisor and no legal department to which I could speak. He again hung up on me. I tried to call back numerous times, and they've apparently blocked my phone calls to them. I've tried calling them on both my land line and my cell phone - the calls are always terminated before I'm able to talk to anyone. The problem now is that their ad has seized my system and won't let me delete it. I can shut the system down, and have done so in the past when this ad pops up, but it keeps coming back.

I want to file charges against these people, but need to know where I need to go to do so. This matter is time sensitive, as one of my systems is "locked up" with their advertisement.
