We had an AKC Pomeranian it was my mom's dog Prancer we never took him anywhere except for PetSmart in Orlando Florida using Banfield paying for the insurance and on June 4th 2019 he went in for his dental cleaning and his physical is always and when I pick him up he was not himself at all that he was shaking he could not go to the bathroom I took him back again they keep saying he had diarrhea when I kept telling them he couldn't even go to the bathroom again I took him back I have all the papers everything that they've ever done for him or that they claim they've done for him the last time I took my dog in and told them I'm not leaving I'm not leaving until they fix them 2 hours later I got a call from Banfield and one of the vets at which point in time let me know that my dog had a mass so big on his colon it started protruding to the outside of his butt on on the right next to his anus at that time I was asked if we want it now he had insurance we were asked if we wanted to pay $1,200 for surgery to relieve some of the pressure but he needed emergency surgery which was going to run 26 to 48,000 and it had to be paid in full at that point in time my dog was euthanized and brought home in a cedar box and what's really bad is that they threaten my dad because they killed my dog and we had insurance on the dog my dad had to pay for the for the insurance for the rest of the year even though we no longer had an animal do to them nothing will probably come of this it never has no one has ever tried to help me do anything but they have to be stopped this cannot happen
