4 years ago I paid $5,000 extra for Crystal lenses in both eyes. They promised gradually over 3 years to provide near and far vision. But I see no such change taking place and I still have to wear glasses for distance vision. Crystal lens was a complete waste of money. I'd like to be reimbursed, or join a class action suit against Bausch & Lomb.
On the other hand two months ago my wife had the same surgeon - one of the best in the world - replace the lenses in her eyes, adjusting one for near vision and the other for far. She finds the result marvelous! She saved $5,000 by electing not to have Crystal lenses.
