$700 bbt overdrafts and service fees within 1 month

I lost my job. I quickly called fir my 4000 in retirement. The retirement bank fell through and didnt get my check to me a week later than was told. Well bbt was having a good time with my checking acct. they charged me 700 in 1 mth. Please. Im willing to work. Please tell me what rights I have! What can help? Believe me I have called bbt all the way up ti corp. All I got even after crying was sorry. We cant do anything. How do those trained robots sleep at night?
