Greetings!

I purchased a Bell & Howell TacLight (Tactical Flashlight) 9/8/20 as Order #32398893 which finally shipped 9/29, arriving 10/10/20. Given how it was advertised and demonstrated on TV, I expected it to last a LEAST a year. Sadly, it has fallen far short of that and I have to conclude it may have been defective from day 1.

As alarming as anything was how FAST it went through batteries, be they generic or a premium brand like Duracell. I considered myself lucky when the single beam didn't begin fading significantly within an hour. As it sucked up batteries and got darker, invariably it would not stay on except by holding the button down continuously when it only flashed.

At this point it's completely inoperative and I'm hoping you might be able to repair or replace it under warranty. Removing the end cap and batteries, it appears a small circuit board has come out of it's bracket or the circuit board is otherwise at an angle which is presumably preventing the battery pack from making contact.

There ARE aspects to this product that I LIKE (such as the first stage, which appears to automatically extinguish after several seconds, thus saving switch and battery life) as well as it's incredibly BRIGHT beam and ability to focus it, though I thought LEDs were supposed to be energy efficient and thus my suspicion this may have been shipped defective, given how fast it drained batteries.

Please let me know what we can do to resolve this matter. I'll be happy to return the defective product for inspection/ repair, though am hoping you can replace it with one that will prove a bit more reliable and economical to operate!
