Their assistant director, Michael G. Hines is seriously drunk with power. If you say hello to him, he will grunt, look you up and down, then walk out of the room. He lectures people on how to do things that aren't related to the job, like brushing your teeth. And if you don't thank him for passing on his royal wisdom he will take it as disrespect and fire you. It is obvious he considers himself to be half-god, half-boss of everything. Do not trust him, do not work with him. I'm sure the reason he is able to keep his job is because BFITS mostly deals with foreign teachers with no experience and no qualifications; people that consider themselves lucky to have a job in the first place. BFITS pays the teachers 35,000 baht per month, which is the lowest salary for a native speaker in Thailand by far. Their contracts are 25 pages, and if you sign them you have signed all of your rights away. They are able to do anything they want to you, and they do. If you date a co-worker they fire you. If you refuse to take a photo while working, they fire you. If you complain about lack of support, they fire you. If you make mistakes entering grades into their "iconThailand" LMS, they fire you. Basically, at BFITS you are treated as garbage but with less consideration. They are willing to make sure garbage ends up in the trash can.

Does anyone know who the competitor is for BFITS in Bangkok? I have heard the name once before, but have since forgotten it.
