Recently, 1 year anniversary actually, BioLife Plasma Services built a facility in Tucson, AZ. This facility is directly alongside a residential area. 30 feet away from our backyards. This facility is directly affecting 6 homes with their total disregard for the homeowners and community. BioLife Plasma in Tucson, AZ continues to leave their interior lighting fixtures and their 50' window blinds on and open from sundown 6pm til sunrise. This is worse when the facility is closed for the 2 days a week. The business hours are clear and the lights still blaze (akin to search lights) into our backyards and homes long after the business has closed for the day. Even after numerous complaints to the facility manager, Jacob Johnson and the reception desk, they continue to ignore our requests. We can not do anything about the building itself, however, all we ask is for some consideration with turning their interior lights OFF at night and closing their blinds. There are city ordinances being violated and it appears we (the homeowners) will have to take a liable/legal route because BioLife's behavior and lack of respect for the community, has prompted this action. This lighting ruins the enjoyment and tranquility of the Tucson, Az night sky for all and is the cause of a lot of stress and anxiety. The regulated parking lot lighting turns off at a standard time but the employees at BioLife Plasma Services can not seem to flip a switch and turn off this horrible lighting. A simple task it should be. How would I consider letting BioLife Plasma Services handle bodily fluids safely if they can not grasp this simple task???? attached are photos.
