Tricky charges and hidden options
These two companies are like the "cat and the fox". I ordered several products from Bitdefender and I'm happy with the quality. The problems start when you order at Bitdefender and get charged by Avangate. Typical trick is the autorenewal. You order at BD, you think that you can manage your payments and option via its "my account", and you are wrong. Avangate does process and manage your money. I managed to open "my account" at Avangate and found that the "auto renewal" was ON. Wow! But, there was another "ON" under "notify me via e-mail when the subsription is about to expire. Did I get the message? Nooo. I wrote them, by chance, a few day before the expiry date and they sent me back to Bitdefender.
The "cat and the fox" have hit again.
