Please refund any and all charges regarding renewals

On March 4th, 2014, we noticed a charge to our credit card that was not authorized by us. We immediatedly contacted Avangate Bitdefender to have this charge refunded and they told us it would take 24-48 hours for this to be resolved. I recontacted them on the 7th and again on the 10th, and I am still waiting for my refund. All I received from them is an email saying they are looking into our request and will get back to us. According to me, when you ask for a refund, there's nothing to look into but to act on the request of your customer. They also told us that this charge was made because we didn't uncheck the automatic renewal option. Mmmm, Sorry guys, but if we would have automatic renewal, our system would still be protected and it's not, and hasn't been for a few weeks. We don't use that computer anymore. Seems like we're not the only one with this problem and I agree in saying that this is a total rip-off from a fraudulent company whom appears to only steal from unsuspected customers like us. This forum made me realize that I will probably never receive my refund. Buyers beware.
