My account (service was absolutely useless) was to have been cancelled October 15th,2016 and I just received another monthly charge on my Visa on October 17th. My account is 274-12-S. Please take action immediately on this account as I do not wish to continue to have any further dealings with your company.

Absolutely predatory practices on seniors. My Mom was having a problem with her internet connection, and panicked, calling them. A $249 base contract, and $25 a month after that for a year, that renews automatically. $100 to break contract. Her problem? A bad wired connection in her apartment. Someone else must have run into this. Thinking class action law suit. Anyone in? The services for $25 a month - nothing. The $249? A few mouse clicks. Total absolute rip off.

I thought I was calling tech support for a problem on software I installed on Win 7 I had formally used on XP. Box Support answered, said I had viruses. Would cost $324.95, would get a two year subscription to AVG 2015 Internet Security and would be charged $27.95 for monthly maintenance which I declined. A month later there was a $27.95 charge on my Visa, I phoned them and got a credit. A month later I got an AVG pop up that said I had a pirated version. I called AVG, they confirmed that the license number to Feb 18 2017 for 1500 computers was fake.

I had deleted all pertaining to Box Support and other stuff linked to them I thought I did. However today, I found they would still have access to my computer. If you have had Box Support tune up your computer have a look in 'control panel' then 'credentials manager' in that window at "generic credentials" if it has a list of numbers and letters it allows automatic log on to the one using that identity. DELETE those figures.

I was on my computer when this Box support called me and told me my computer had been compromised. I had Malware and all kinds of bugs. They said this
company in India had scammed me. I am 76 years old and although my daughter is a computer genius, she is out of town, so
this guy had me do all this stuff and then he told me to get rid of all the bugs it would cost me $349.00. I told him all I had was my
SSI and I couldn't afford it so he said I should turn off my computer. I hung up and thought about it and I knew they were trying to scam me. I called them back and told them my daughter was a computer genius and EVERYONE at the Apple store knew her
and I was going down there to talk to them which I did and they took all my information, assured me that they were a scam and
that a BBB rating didn't mean a thing. I came home, got on my computer and looked them up and started reading the complaints, so I want to thank everyone who has taken the time to write a review because I honestly wouldn't have known it was a scam and my daughter would have taken my computer away for a few weeks.

Box Support took 100.00+ from my dad to fix his email which the only problem was he couldnt log into it? He forgot his password and they stated in a receipt that he has a virus on his computer and needed it fixed. My dad called me two days later saying they never even started the work? Box Support is a scam and i am going to submit complaints every where i can to ensure that they do not cause this pain on anyone.
