Went to this store to enquire about putty and a stain for a jetty explaining the marine environment clearly.I stated I did not want to spend hours doing the work then find I need to repeat the chore in 12 months which was the case using other products previously.
Advised Woodblend was the best product to fill wood defects and Intergrain the best product for protection of the structure.
After the putty flaked and dislodged then the stain (after two coats using 10Litre cans) became milky, I contacted Ashley Kendall at Cabot/Dulux (the complaint website) who advised these products were not suited for a marine environment.
I waited some time to speak with the expert in West Gosford paint department to then be told the wrong advice.
I am not happy. Ashley Kendall stated the problem was the Bunnings store not Cabot/Dulux as they offer the training but cannot take responsibility if the store does not comply.
