Dec 2016, we purchased a 6 figure DRV Mobile Suites from Tom Johnson Camping World in Marion, NC. Biggest mistake of our lives! Long story short, we spent MONTHS trying to get help on a very dangerous situation. Our drivers side slide would come open at will, whether parked or driving down the freeway at 70mph. I have full documentation that proves we tried for 18 months to get help from someone at Camping World. I did not receive one reply about this situation in all of the emails I sent. I have them and can prove what I am saying. I am positive if we had of killed someone, this would be a completely different conversation. When we purchased the coach, there were many items that need repairs. Before the 12 month warranty was over, there were close to 60 - sixty - items in need of repair and/or replacement on this so called luxury coach. We now have an RV we are terrified to use and it just sits. I have gone round and round with Camping World and they just don't care. I filed a complaint with another complaint company. That was Sunday, January 31st, 2021. That night at 8:30pm, we received three calls from men who identified themselves from the complaint department at Camping World. The first one caught me by surprise. The 2nd and 3rd calls are recorded. They are the most vulgar calls I have ever received. That actually wished me dead. I let them know they were being recorded and that did not stop them from speaking to my wife and me in such a way that really made us both sick. First thing Monday morning, I called our sheriffs department. They sent a deputy to our home. The calls are so vulgar, he would only listen to one of them. If only we had of been warned about Camping World before we made the worst mistake of our lives, we would have never purchased from them. Now....I will never purchase even toilet paper from them. Do yourself a favor and find an RV from someone else! Gander RV is also Camping World. And they are buying up a lot of local mom and pop shops and not changing the name. Do your homework on your seller! Buyer Beware! They took our retirement dream and turned it into a nightmare. Don't let them take your dreams away.
